One link instead of fifteen
Sending a client five separate property links makes them do the collating. A Selection does it for them — and tells you which one they kept coming back to.
The normal way to send a client several properties is several messages. Five links, five previews, in a chat that already has three weeks of other conversation in it.
The client then has to keep track of which was which, and you have no idea what happened next.
What a Selection changes
A Selection is one private link holding the properties you chose, with the client’s name on it and a line from you about each one — the sentence you would otherwise have said on the phone.
They open one thing. It is ordered the way you ordered it. And the note explaining why the third one is worth a look sits on the third one, instead of three messages above it.
And it reports back
Every time the link is opened you see it: how many times, when they last looked, and how long they spent on each property.
That is the part that changes the follow-up call. "Did you get a chance to look?" becomes "you spent a while on the JBR one — do you want to see it Saturday?", which is a different conversation.
Withdrawing it does not erase it
Archiving a Selection stops the link working immediately. The Activity it collected stays attached to the record, because the point of knowing what a client looked at is that you still know it next month.
